Condominium Accountability - We Need to Improve the Condominium Act

Here is a proposal for an amendment to the Condominium Act that I will be requesting Republican legislators to introduce and pass. Please let me know what you think about it. Suggestions to improve it will be greatly appreciated. Condominium Affordability and Accountability Act (Proposal for Legislative Bill) Purpose: Make condominiums more affordable by improving the accountability of Association boards as well as licensed professionals advising them and allowing residents to opt out of paying for recreational benefits and any other costs not specifically related to building and property maintenance.   Provisions: All master community organizations with the authority to assess fees to condominium associations or owners within them without explicit consent from every unit owner will be governed by provisions of the Condominium Act except when that creates a conflict with other laws they operate under. Conflict does not apply when stricter standards can be met to compl...

We Won, We Got By, We Lost - Nationally, State-wide, County-wide

Trump and Vance won! In Congress, we have a Republican Senate and have maintained a small majority in the House of Representatives. Republicans effectively control the Federal government and should be able to implement the Trump MAGA agenda to clean out the corrupt deep state, revitalize our economy, reduce government interference with our lives, and restore a peace through strength foreign policy to advance American interests and subsequently making the world more peaceful. On the state level, we did well by re-electing Rick Scott to the US Senate and defeating the marijuana and abortion amendments. Defeating those amendments was a squeaker, though. They both got majority support, but, fortunately, Florida requires a 60% super majority for a constitutional amendment to pass. Between that and Gov. DeSantis using his influence to persuade voters and give them the facts, those amendments were beaten back. Had either of them passed, the quality of life in Florida would have suffered treme...

Guide to the General Election

Here is a guide to the candidates and issues that will be on the General Election ballot. I'll tell you how I'm voting after explaining both positions. As a Republican Precinct Committeeman, I will not be supporting or endorsing any non-Republican in any election in which a Republican is a candidate. However, I will still provide reasons for my choices and, to the extent I can find them, web sites for all candidates and positions on constitutional questions. Key links for voting information: Our polling location for ELECTION DAY, November 5, 2024, is the Huntington Lakes Clubhouse from 7 am - 7 pm. This is the ONLY location you can vote on election day. I urge you to use early voting or vote by mail to make sure your vote counts and your voting is as easy as possible. Avoid stress on election day caused by emergencies, bad weather, last minute scheduling conflicts, etc. by voting early either in person or by mail. Make sure your vote counts and isn't sidelined by an unfores...

Tim Walz Opposes 1st Amendment: Apparently Democrat Leaders Agree

This story in the Federalist shows how much of a leftist radical Tim Walz is. Anyone who observes a biblical religion will be prohibited from being licensed as a teacher in Minnesota and from teaching in schools.  Read the story! Walz is not a "Minnesota nice" person. He is a radical leftist actively working to undermine biblical values and the foundations of Western Civilization.  Remember, he does not support freedom of speech if the speaker is saying something hurtful or inaccurate . Who decides that? Obviously the government since only it can fine people or throw them in prison. Watch the entire embedded video clip or start at 3:45 to save some time. Our first amendment codifies our divinely given right of free speech. It also protects the government from interfering with religion or establishing a religion (woke leftism is the religion of Democrat Party leadership). Tim Walz was apparently a social studies teacher. Why is he so ignorant of America's constitution an...

Guide to the 2024 Republican Primary - My Picks

Ballot Info for Precinct 8879: Each position being elected has candidates listed below the position. The first candidate listed under each office is the one I currently plan to vote for. The others are listed in no particular order.  I have brief comments about each candidate as well as links to their web sites. For candidates without web sites, I provided a search string you can use in a search engine. US Senate Rick Scott - incumbent, has experience and seniority, does a decent job, known quality https://rickscott.com Columbus - does not seem to have solid conservative principles https://www.columbusforcongress.com Gross - not careful about campaign laws (Georgia - got thrown off ballot for ineligibility), can't have careless or dishonest candidates https://www.keithgross.com District 22 US Rep Dan Franzese - won primary and ran last time. Got 45% against Frankel last time. Solid conservative. Well funded. https://www.danforusa.com/meet-dan Adeimy - Talks well on issues, b...

How to Vote

There are three ways to vote in Palm Beach County: Vote by Mail (VBM), Early Voting, and Election Day Voting. You can get more information about each of them here: https://www.votepalmbeach.gov/Voters/Ways-to-Vote The Republican Party and I strongly encourage you to sign up for VBM. You must request to be send VBM ballots every 2 years. All VBM requests are automatically cancelled on December 31 of even numbered years to maintain integrity of the process. Requesting a mail-in ballot ensures you get a ballot mailed to you as early as possible. You can fill out your ballot and either mail it in or drop it off at a Supervisor of Elections office or an early voting location. You can track your ballot on the county website to ensure it is received and counted. This is an excellent option if you send in your ballot at least 2 weeks before election day. Even if you do not vote with your ballot, it gives you notice of the election and identifies all of the candidates and issues. Early Vot...
